Google Ads For New Started eCommerce Store

My client started a new eCommerce store and is interested to take advantage of Google ads. I had committed with my client for the 2x ROAS in the testing phase because we started work with a fresh Google ads account.

Finally, we have received 2.34x ROSA in the testing phase

In this post, we discuss how we started Google Ads for the new eCommerce store and how we reached the expected results in the testing phase.

• Optimized Product Page:

First, we optimized the product page for a better conversion rate. We put all required details that eliminated any chances of user objection and thus convinced them to place their order without any hesitation.

• Set-up & Optimized Google Shopping Feed:

We set up the shopping feed in Google Merchant Center and assigned accurate product categories, age group, gender, and so on for better shopping ads performance.

• Compiled List of Generic Negative Keywords:

We researched generic negative keywords to receive high-quality traffic. This helped us a lot to prevent irrelevant and low-quality traffic.

• Set-up Standard Shopping Campaign:

We set up a standard shopping campaign for better optimization. We optimized search terms to improve the traffic quality, optimized bids to attain good impression share and etc.

• Set-up DSA Campaign:

DSA campaign stands for “Dynamic Search Ad”. In DSA ads copies need to write the description but Google automatically creates Ads heading according to the search term and landing page relevancy. DSA is a fantastic way to capture unique search terms.

• Created Audience List:

We linked Google ads with analytics and created an audience list in analytics for all visitors, cart, and checkout abandonment and etc. To run display retargeting ads Google required 1K audience size in the target list and now we have sufficient audience size to run retargeting ads.

Now we have the list of winner products or you can say “the low hanging fruits” and we plan to scale with them for better ROAS and sales.
