In the mid of August, I connected with an e-commerce client. They were trying to sell high ticket products by Google ads for the last couple of months but unfortunately were not fetching the desired results. They were convinced that the Google ads platform is not suited for their business.

I requested the client provide me access to your Google ads account to inspect, review and share an audit report for more insights. In the analysis report that was made, plenty of loopholes were found. We were able to show the client how the investments in Google Ads were mismanaged and therefore it did not get them any results.

We then framed a complete strategy for them to improve effectiveness in the existing campaigns and set up new campaigns with proper structure.

Read Historical Data:

We benefited from the Google ads account historical data. We prepared a strategy based on the extracted data trends. With our expertise in Data Analytics, we can equip any business to easily take Google ads accounts to the next level with consistently good ROAS.

Paused Non-Performing Keywords & Products:

Based on the historical data, we paused non-performing keywords in the search campaign and non-products in shopping campaigns. The CPA decreased after this step, and ROAS started to improve.

Optimized Search Term:

Prepared the list of hostile and irrelevant search terms based on the data and put that list in the negative keywords to close the door for the outside search terms and poor quality traffic.

Optimized Product Pages

We found a couple of loopholes in the products pages and eliminated them all. We had optimized the product’s title, description, increase the urgency/scarcity, improved valuable social proof, improved loading speed, and much more.

Prepare New Campaigns Structure:

Good campaign structure is fundamental that allows you to control how your ads are triggered; and when and where you want them to appear. If you have a substandard campaign structure in your Google ads account, your ROAS efficiency would drastically fall. 

These are some crucial steps that we took to make improvements. Now the client is satisfied with the current performance, and we are working on a plan to scale for the next level.
